sustainable creativity
Sustainability is a key and a tool for design and production, it's a must when it come to creating products and/or concepts. Circular business models and a vision of zero emission and an unnoticed footprint is the goal.
Sustainability in terms of fabrics - design and production, social compliance has been a big part of my work and how I lead a team of creatives and production departments. Innovation and new techniques are something that is constantly improving and one need to stay ahead and transform old habits and business models into longlife ideas and techniques.

Local production and leftover fabrics is another form of sustainability, where transportation - virgin fabrics and the social compliances place a huge different. And of course the idea of bringing production closer to your consumer.
PROJECTS TALKING TO SUSTAINABILITY - CIRCULAR DESIGN - INNOVATION

INFORMATION
We started with the fabric, only using recycled - or organic cotton for our jeans. The pocket bags - metal and the adjusted jacron are all sustainable and they can be recycled. We started to look into new techniques such as laser treatments, ozone washing and in common washing we started to measure the water - energy - chemical and impact through EIM system, and set a standard that set us a part from others and gave us control and transparency of how and what the impact were on each product.

Trims @ dobber
Closed loop / circular ready trims for the brand labels.
Of course we wanted to make the least impact possible and aim towards a circular flow for all of our trims, using recycled polyester in the woven labels and all cellulosa based articles aka paper labels undyed and with FSC paper, size and measurements adjusted to minimize leftovers. The metal trims comes from PRYM life and they are certified recycled metals, ready to be taken of the finished garment once worn out and ready for recycling.
The main focus was also the strip the garments to use as few articles as possible, but still with the brand identity fully visible.
